Some of the Main Registries
Dogue de Bordeaux are not recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC).

They are recognized and able to be registered by:
*Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) www.fci.be
The Fédération Cynologique Internationale is the World Canine Organisation. It is a governing body over many kennel club registries. It includes 84 members and contract partners (one member per country) that each issue their own pedigrees and train their own judges. The FCI makes sure that the pedigrees and judges are mutually recognized by all the FCI members. The USA and Canada are not members of FCI, but most, if not all registries recognized FCI registries.

*Federation of International Canines (FIC) www.ficregistry.org
*United States Bordeaux Corporation (USBC)
*Canine Federation of Canada (CFC) www.caninecanada.ca/en/mission_statement.asp
*American Kennel Club - Foundation Stock Service (AKC-FSS) www.akc.org/breeds/fss_breeds.cfm
(AKC-FSS is not a registry, it is a foundation stock service (record keeping) only.)  The AKC-FSS is a listing service for rare breeds that the AKC has acknowledged to some day be recognized.
